Dismount Micro-doppler for Isar
نویسندگان
چکیده
The moving parts of a target induce additional features in the Doppler frequency spectrum in ISAR imaging. These features are called micro-Doppler, are rich in information, and appear as variations to the central Doppler frequency that are often periodic and non-linear in nature. We extract a new model based on measurements and simulations of the micro-Doppler returned by both stationary and moving dismounts at SAR-relevant angles.

Research on micro-Doppler feature of spatial target
The micro-Doppler (m-D) effect which is also called micro-motion effect is a kind of physical phenomenon, which is often produced in ISAR imaging of space targets. When the space target has a micro-Doppler effect, it will produce frequency modulation for the radar echo and cause serious interference to ISAR imaging of the target. In this paper, the micro-spin model is modeled, and the echo of m...
متن کاملISAR Image Improvement Using STFT Kernel Width Optimization Based On Minimum Entropy Criterion
Nowadays, Radar systems have many applications and radar imaging is one of the most important of these applications. Inverse Synthetic Aperture Radar (ISAR) is used to form an image from moving targets. Conventional methods use Fourier transform to retrieve Doppler information. However, because of maneuvering of the target, the Doppler spectrum becomes time-varying and the image is blurred. Joi...
متن کاملDevelopments in target micro-Doppler signatures analysis: radar imaging, ultrasound and through-the-wall radar
Target motions, other than the main bulk translation of the target, induce Doppler modulations around the main Doppler shift that form what is commonly called a target micro-Doppler signature. Radar micro-Doppler signatures are generally both target and action specific and hence can be used to classify and recognise targets as well as to identify possible threats. In recent years, research into...
متن کاملMicro-Doppler Effect Removal in ISAR Imaging by Promoting Joint Sparsity in Time-Frequency Domain.
For micromotion scatterers with small rotating radii, the micro-Doppler (m-D) effect interferes with cross-range compression in inverse synthetic aperture radar (ISAR) imaging and leads to a blurred main body image. In this paper, a novel method is proposed to remove the m-D effect by promoting the joint sparsity in the time-frequency domain. Firstly, to obtain the time-frequency representation...
متن کاملHigh Resolution Full-Aperture ISAR Processing through Modified Doppler History Based Motion Compensation
A high resolution inverse synthetic aperture radar (ISAR) technique is presented using modified Doppler history based motion compensation. To this purpose, a novel wideband ISAR system is developed that accommodates parametric processing over extended aperture length. The proposed method is derived from an ISAR-to-SAR approach that makes use of high resolution spotlight SAR and sub-aperture rec...
